Liz has been at Uinta Academy as the business manager since 2022. Her role includes all aspects of human resource management, assisting our admissions director with new student enrollments, and communicating with our accounting managers regarding A/P, A/R, and invoicing  

Liz has experience as an HR specialist for a local beef processing plant, an office clerk for an egg processing plant, and many production and cleaning jobs during her teenage years (a long time ago).  

Liz's is proud of her family of Mexican immigrants and she came to the USA at the age of seven. She left high school in 10th grade, and years later, decided she needed to have a college degree to show her children that nothing is impossible. At the age of 37, with 4 small children, she graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. 

Liz has loved her experience at Uinta Academy! She loves being a part of an awesome group of people who care about their students and their recovery. "Seeing the girls' smiley faces during the day is the greatest reward, knowing we are making a difference one day at a time."
