Beckie grew up on a ranch outside of Grassy Lake, Alberta, Canada.

She loves teaching because she loves connecting with the students, watching them progress, and trying to help them in any way possible with their academic goals and journey.  She loves the smaller classroom size and individualized curriculum.

Beckie earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a human biology emphasis from Brigham Young University and got her secondary education licensure from Southern Utah University.

She started at Uinta on April 8, 2024.

Some of her previous employment was as a medical transcriptionist, pharmacy technician, math tutor, high school career center coordinator, and science teacher.

As far as hobbies go, Beckie loves to hike, play pickleball, garden with her family and students, bake, enjoy the outdoors and especially spend time with her family.
