Bailee Habel, CSW
Primary Therapist
I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, and relocated to Logan, Utah in 2022 to begin my journey toward becoming a therapist. I value making the most out of life and enjoy spending my time outside of work with my family and my puppy, often exploring the outdoors and seeking new adventures.
I have had the privilege of working at Uinta Academy since 2022. I began as a direct care staff member and quickly advanced to the role of West Home Manager. I now serve as a Primary Therapist, where I bring my passion for growth and healing into my clinical work.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes exploration and adventure therapy, utilizing a relational and group-based framework to support healing. I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I am certified in Brainspotting and the Safe and Sound Protocol. I also focus on executive functioning and career coaching, helping clients build practical skills, increase motivation, and create meaningful direction in their lives.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have engaged in humanitarian work teaching English to Haitian refugees in the Dominican Republic. This experience deepened my commitment to culturally responsive care and strengthened my passion for supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

"Teens and young adults who come to Uinta are pleasantly surprised that they live in a home in a residential neighborhood, that the mountains are right outside their door, and that they get to do all the normal things that teenagers like to do."
