Russ Pryor has worked in the mental health field since 1993. He earned a Bachelor of Science, Psychology, from Brigham Young University, 1994, a Master of Social Work from Tulane University, 1995, and a Master of Business Administration from Westminster College, 2000.
Russ has worked as a clinician, manager, and senior administrator at all the different levels of care and treatment within the mental health realm. His therapeutic focus is an integrative approach to treatment using family systems theory and cognitive behavioral therapy. Russ’ specialties are treating mood disorders, social learning issues, personality disorders, grief and trauma, chemical dependency, and adoption/attachment issues.
Moreover, Russ has advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Russ’ interests include running, traveling, eating, movies, and the arts; however, his favorite hobby is running. Russ has run multiple marathons and a plethora of half marathons. Russ married his best friend and has three beautiful and loving daughters. When Russ is not working, he loves to spend his time with his family.
